Its a pleasure to live in Levin which is a town of about 19,700 people situated in the Horowhenua District of the Manawatu-Wanganui Region and is known to Maori as “Taitoko”. It is 90 kilometres north of Wellington, 50 kilometres south of Palmerston North, and lies to the east of Lake Horowhenua. The town is on State Highway 1, and on the North Island Main Trunk with a station used by the Capital Connection long distance commuter train between Wellington and Palmerston North and the Overlander long distance train between Wellington and Auckland.
Here is an excellent (11 minute) Youtube Video about our District which shares some of the marvelous things we have to offer. Click to view.
